SHRM San Antonio is often approached by organizations, both for-profit and nonprofit, with requests to promote their events to SHRM San Antonio membership. The following establishes the criteria by which the Executive Committee or full board should consider and approve such requests. All requests must meet the following criteria before being taken into consideration:
1. SHRM San Antonio must be contacted at least 30 days before the event. Promotion of the event does not constitute a conflict of interest for SHRM San Antonio, its directors or volunteers.
2. The event will provide substantial value to SHRM San Antonio members by an established, reputable organization. Promotion of the event will not conflict with or compete with existing or planned SHRM San Antonio events and sponsorships.
3. To be considered for promotion to SHRM San Antonio members, the following options have been established:
4. If none of the above can be established, then any other combination of "in kind" promotion that the Executive Committee or full board approves of with the intent of providing value to members AND promoting SHRM San Antonio to the community at large can be established on a case-by-case basis.
