Sandy is currently the Director of Human Resources for Thomas J Henry Law, a personal injury law firm that handles all types of personal injury with a track record of success for over 30 years. Thomas J. Henry Law has 250+ personal injury attorneys in Texas with firm locations in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston, Puerto Rico, and San Antonio.

She has over 25+ years’ experience serving in C-suite and executive positions in healthcare, non-for-profit, and for-profit industries providing strategic support and guidance. Sandy has also had a consulting business where she advised businesses on various federal laws and regulations, proper procedures for recording information that protects and encourage businesses to grow, and optimal solutions when things go awry in the work environment for employees. 

Her last consulting job was part of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program that was announced on April 17, 2020, where the USDA exercised authority under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to purchase and distribute agricultural products to those in need.  She worked with CEO of Cre8ad8 who was awarded $39.1 million on the first round of purchases occurring May 15 through June 20, 2020, through the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program.  She oversaw the financial, operations and human resources aspects of the project that contribute to their success. 
The documentary tells the story in a global platform that has received multi-awards in film history.

Sandy has been an active SHRM San Antonio volunteer/member since 2013.  She has been part of the auction committee for the STHR Symposium that lead to the beginning of her Board assignments.  She has served on the SHRM San Antonio Board as the College Relations Director, served on the Executive Board of Directors as Treasurer and Secretary, in 2021 served as Chair of the South Texas Human Resources Symposium, in 2023 elected as the President Elect of the Board of Directors, 2024 President of the Board of Directors, and currently sits as our 2025 Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors.

Sandy holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Texas A & M University - San Antonio and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University.
